The week ending April 5th was fairly fine and bright. Minimum
temperature, 35.0° ; maximum, 60.5° ; mean, 46.9°. On two days rain fell
(0.06 inch). The winds were SW. and NW. Sunshine, 20.1 per cent. Mean
barometer, 29.7 inches.
The week ending April 12th was cooled by easterly and north-easterly
winds. Minimum temperature, 30.0° ; maximum, 52.0° ; mean, 43.4°. No
rain fell. Sunshine, 8.5 per cent. Mean barometer, 29.8 inches.
The week ending April 19th was also cool, but a little brighter.
Minimum temperature, 35.0°; maximum, 67.0°; mean, 53.2°. On one
day rain fell (0.1 inch). The winds were ESE. Sunshine, 17.0 per cent. Mean
barometer, 29.7 inches.
The week ending April 26th was unsettled, but fairly sunny. Minimum
temperature, 39.5° ; maximum, 64.5° ; mean, 54.5°. On two days rain fell
(0.14 inch). The winds were variable. Sunshine, 29.2 per cent. Mean
barometer, 29.8 inches.
