During the five weeks ending November 1st there have been registered
271 births and 231 deaths. These births and deaths are divided among the
five sub-districts as set forth in Table III. Seventy-eight of the deaths

Christ Church, birth-rate 30.0 ; death-rate 20.8.
St. John, birth-rate 17.8; death-rate 19.9.
The whole district, birth-rate 21.1; death-rate 18.0.
The average death-rates for five years (1896 to 1901) for the corresponding
period were as follows:β€”All Souls, 12.3 ; Rectory, 16.2; St. Mary, 13.1;
Christ Church, 15.7; St. John, 16.8; the whole district, 14.7.
