The week ending July 12th was one of pleasant summer warmth.
Minimum temperature, 44.5°; maximum, 83.0°; mean, 67.3°. On two
days rain fell (0.24 inch). Winds variable. Sunshine registered in
Regent's Park, 54 hours. Mean barometer, 30.0 inches.
The week ending July 19th was bright and rainless. Minimum
temperature, 46.0°; maximum, 84.5°; mean, 68.4°. Winds, NW.
Sunshine 67.5 hours. Mean barometer, 300 inches.
The week ending July 26th was cooled by easterly winds. Minimum
temperature, 50.0°; maximum, 71.2°; mean, 60.1°. On one day rain fell
(0.09 inch). Sunshine, 1ST hours. Mean barometer, 29.8 inches.
The week ending August 2nd was also cool. Minimum temperature,
49.4°; maximum, 68.8°; mean, 58.1°. Sunshine registered, 40 hours. On
