The week ending June 7th was wet and unpleasant. Minimum temperature,
50.0°; maximum, 76.0°; mean, 59.8°. On six days 1.05 inch rain fell.
The winds were WSW and WNW; the sunshine, 23.8 per cent. Mean
barometer, 29.8 inches.
The week ending June 14th was also wet and cool. Minimum temperature,
39.2°; maximum, 60.0°; mean, 52.5°; On four days rain fell (1.28
inch). "Winds variable. Sunshine, 14.3 per cent. Mean barometer, 29.6
inches.
The week ending June 21st showed but a slight improvement.
Minimum temperature, 45.0°; maximum, 71.5°; mean, 58.0°. Winds,
N and SE. On three days rain fell (0.30 inch). Sunshine only 18.5 per
cent. Mean barometer, 29.6 inches.
