The week ending May 10th was cool and rainy. Minimum temperature,
33.0°; maximum, 56.0°; mean, 45.5°. On four days rain fell (0.25 inch).
Winds, NE. Sunshine, 34.6 per cent.; mean barometer, 30.1 inches.
The week ending May 17th was also cool and wet. Minimum temperature,
32.2°; maximum, 57.0°; mean, 46.1°. On six days rain fell, the total
rainfall being 0.65 inch. Winds, SW. Sunshine registered in Regent's
Park, 21.9 per cent. of the possible. Mean barometer, 29.7 inches.
The week ending May 24th was a little warmer, but still cool and damp.
Minimum temperature, 38.5°; maximum, 67.8°; mean, 53.0°. On four
days rain fell (0.24 inch). Winds, NNW and SW. Sunshine 31.4 per
cent. Mean barometer, 30.0 inches.
The week ending May 31st was warmer and brighter. Minimum
temperature, 46.5°; maximum, 70.0°; mean, 61.9°. On three days rain
fell (0.4 inch). Winds, westerly. Sunshine in Regent's Park, 50 hours, or
44.4 per cent. Mean barometer, 29.9 inches.
