Isolation Hospitals are provided by the Metropolitan Asylums Board, and residents of Hampstead suffering from infectious disease (excluding Tuberculosis) were
chiefly removed to the North-Western Fever Hospital, which is within the Borough, and is situate at Lawn Road, in No. 2 (Belsize) Ward.
Persons suffering from Pulmonary Tuberculosis were removed to institutions in various j:arts of the country.
* These figures relate only to cases notified for the first time in 1917
(1) Of these 256 cases, 215 were notified on Form A, 1 on Form B, 23 on Form C. and 17 on Form D.
(2) Of these 52 cases, 49 were notified on Form A, 1 on Form B, 2 on Form C
