Whooping Cough.—Eighty-three cases of Whooping Cough
were reported, against one hundred and forty-eight in the
previous year.
Four deaths were registered. As this is not a notifiable
disease, the mortality rate on the cases reported is of no
value, as doubtless a very large number of cases occurred
which were not known of in the Public Health Department.
I have received, as heretofore, information as to cases from
the Head Teachers of the Schools of the London County
Council.
The following Chart shows the number of Deaths from Measles pej
100,000 inhabitants, 1908-1927.
