TUBERCULOSIS DISFEN SARY.
The Sub-Committee appointed by the Public
Health Committee to confer with the Sub-Committee of
the West London Hospital with the object of providing
a Tuberculosis Dispensary for this Borough, have met
on several occasions but no definite conclusion has yet
been reached as to the provision of such Dispensary.
LICENSED SLAUGHTER HOUSES.
The whole of the licensed slaughter houses in
the Borough were under inspection by the Inspector
for offensive trades. At the annual inspection of
slaughter houses in October, 1913, I had received
notices that 8 licences were to be applied for. In all
cases they were found to be, as far as your Council's
requirements were concerned, in a satisfactory condition
and your Council decided to inform the London
County Council that you offered no opposition to the
renewal of those licences. At the Special Sessions
at the London County Council, held in October, the 8
licences were granted.
