STAFF
I desire to express my gratitude to my staff for the efficiency with which they have
discharged their duties, for their loyalty and for the way they have worked together as a team.
I have never found myself in the position of having to resolve a difficult situation of their making
either inside or outside the office.
Two faithful servants of the Corporation retired during the year: —
G. Ludgate, Senior Porter Meat Inspector's Office, after 47 years' service.
T. E. Tierney, Senior Messenger, after 26 years' service.
I should also like to express my appreciation of the courtesy and consideration which the
Chairman and Members of the Public Health Committee have constantly extended to me in
my official capacity and of their personal kindness and friendship at all times.
I have the honour to be,
Your obedient Servant,
CHAS. F. WHITE,
Medical Officer of Health.
