Vaccination.—Of the 413 births notified to the Vaccination Officer during 1932, 170 had
been successfully vaccinated by the end of the year, 14 had died before the age for vaccination
and 3 were reported as insusceptible. Vaccination was postponed by medical
certificate in 1 case, 137 had removed into other districts, or the vaccinations were
pending at the end of the year. There were 88 instances of conscientious objection.
The Public Vaccinator performed 310 re-vaccinations during the year, and in addition to the
170 successful vaccinations referred to above, 95 adult persons were vaccinated for the
first time.
