THE PUBLIC HEALTH (CONDENSED MILK) REGULATIONS, 1923.
Nine samples of different brands of condensed milk were taken and submitted to the
Public Analyst, as follows:β€”

In no instance was there a breach of the Regulations either with regard to the equivalent
contents, composition or declaration on the labels.
THE PUBLIC HEALTH (DRIED MILK) REGULATIONS, 1923.
Four samples of dried milk were taken and submitted to the Public Analyst, as follows
Dried Full Cream Milk 2
Dried Machine Skimmed Milk that one sample
of Dried Machine Skimmed Milk was deficient as regards equivalent contents. This brand
was resampled and found satisfactory. The printing on the labels of the tins, however, did
not conform to the Regulations. The importers, whose premises were within the City area,
were communicated with, and they immediately took steps to effectively remedy the errors.
