There was some danger of the work of the Advisory Committee on Atmospheric Pollution ceasing owing to lack of the necessary financial support, and at the request of the
Committee, the Corporation have agreed to make a contribution of £50 per annum for
three years towards the expenses incurred in the investigations undertaken. Contributions have, I believe, also been made by other authorities.
