"in which any dangerous infectious disease has appeared, for the purpose of
"enabling such dwellings to be disinfected by the sanitary authority," has
been visited by eight families during the year. They numbered 19 persons, of
whom 13 were adults and 6 were children, and who were housed during
the disinfection of their houses after:—
Scarlet Fever 5 families.
Diphtheria 2 „
7 families.
Three families came from homes consisting of three rooms, and four of
two rooms. One other family of three persons was also received at the
Shelter during disinfection of their residence on account of vermin.
