FISH SUPPLIES.
211,642 Tons of fish, of which 164,016 were land-borne and 47,626
water-borne, were received at or near Billingsgate Market during the year.
Of the above, 157,335 tons were consigned to Billingsgate Market, the
remainder, viz., 54,307, being delivered at the salesmen's shops in the
neighbourhood of the Market.
