Deaths from Violence.
Of the City deaths, 5.02 per cent. were caused by injuries or violence (as compared
with 8.03 in 1902), being 2.28 below the average for the previous five years.
In the City of London, the ratio of deaths from violence to deaths from
all causes, which had regularly risen during the previous four years,
showed a marked diminution in 1903, the above quoted figures being the
lowest recorded.
