MEAT SUPPLIES.
The total quantity of meat delivered at the Corporation Markets, Smithfield,
during 1902 amounted to 405,019 tons 13 cwts. 3 qrs., against 415,510 tons
15 cwts. 3 qrs. in the previous year, being a decrease of 2.53 per cent. In
the two preceding years (1900 and 1901) the deliveries showed increased
percentages of 1.20 and 1.25 respectively.*
