of the uncovered area of any yard attached to such
house; and the nature of the pavement of such yard,
together with such further particulars as the said
Commissioners or their Medical Officer of Health
may from time to time require.
REGULATION XVI.
The word "Owner," when used in these Regulations
shall be construed to include any person or
body receiving, or entitled to receive, the rents of
the property in respect of which that word is used,
from the occupier of such property, on his or their
own account, or as trustee or agent for any other
person or body, or as receiver or sequestrator
appointed by the Court of Chancery, or under any
order thereof, or who would receive the same if
such property were let to a tenant.
PENALTIES.
The Commissioners of Sewers of the City of
London do hereby, in pursuance of the 35th section
of "The Sanitary Act, 1866," provide for the
enforcement of the above Regulations, by fixing
and determining that each and every Owner of any
house or part of a house let in lodgings or occupied
by members of more than one family, who shall
