REGULATIONS
for
HOUSES OR PARTS OF HOUSES,
IN THE CITY OF LONDON,
which are
LET IN LODGINGS,
OR OCCUPIED BY MORE THAN ONE FAMILY.
REGULATION I.
Water shall be amply supplied to every house or
part of a house let in lodgings or occupied by
members of more than one family, either by cisternage
or by constant supply, to the satisfaction of the
Commissioners of Sewers of the City of London.
If by cisternage, the cistern shall be provided with
a tight-fitting cover, and be capable of affording
a supply of at least 30 gallons of water daily
