A study of dental graphs and tables given in this report reveals a reduction under nearly
all headings, when compared with previous years. The reduction in staff (table (i)) of the
equivalent of two full-time dental officers was not of itself sufficient to account for the
general shrinkage; certain other trends and events also had an impact.
