Building programme
Programme for 1962-63—As a result of the usual annual review of the five-year building
programme, the Council approved a programme for 1962-63 providing for estimated
expenditure amounting to £395,780, including acquisition of sites. Details of the schemes
in the programme are given in table (i).
General
Details of works completed during the year, works in hand and works approved but not
yet commenced are set out in tables (ii), (iii) and (iv). During the year freehold or leasehold
interests in some properties were acquired; details are shown in table (v).
