The Deputy Chemist (Dr. S. G. Burgess) was a member of the following committees:

Dr. Burgess was also a member of the Interdepartmental Paint Committee and

Liaison
The work of the Chemical Branch extends to practically every aspect of the Council's
activities, necessitating frequent consultation with officers of other departments.
Once again it is most gratifying to record the full and friendly co-operation which
obtained at all times during the year and which proved so helpful in the discharge of
joint responsibilities.
