Influenza, Bronchitis and Pneumonia.
The deaths attributed to influenza, which in 1906 numbered 895, rose to 967 in 1907. The deaths
from bronchitis numbered 6,010 in 1907, compared with 5,373 in 1906. In 1907 there were 7,538 deaths
attributed to pneumonia, an increase of 952 over the number occurring from the same cause in 1906.
The deaths from these diseases since 1889 have been as follows:—
