* In the ease of the parishes of Eltham and Tooting the burial places available are not burial grounds which have been provided by the
parish authorities under the powers conferred by the Burial Acts. The churchyards in these parishes which were in existence at the date of the
passing of the Act are still available for use, though in each case extension of the area of ground has taken place. At the present time these
parishes are semi-rural in character and their population is small.
