Conclusion
I acknowledge with gratitude the continuance during the year of the closest
co-operation between members of my Department and the Medical Practitioners of
the Borough, hospital doctors and almoners, National Assistance Board Officers
and many others, particularly in connection with infectious disease notifications
and the welfare of old people.,
I am appreciative of the help and encouragement afforded me during the year
by members of the Council, and in particular by the Chairman and members of the
Public Health Committee. My thanks are also due to the other chief officers of
the Council and their staffs for the continuance of that happy relationship which
is so helpful at all times.
Finally, my sincere thanks to all the members of my own staff for their
unfailing help and co-operation throughout the year.
I beg to remain,
Your Worship, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
SUSAN M. TRACY,
Medical Officer of Health
