RAG FLOCK AND OTHER FILLING MATERIALS ACT, 1951
This Act requires
(a) the registration of premises where specified filling materials are
used, and
(b) the annual licensing of premises where rag flock is manufactured or
stored.
Twenty-six premises were on the Council's register at the end of the year
and two licences were renewed in respect of storage for the year 1955
During 1954 the Council's sanitary inspectors paid 31 visits to these
premises and took 12 samples, as follows, all of which were subjected to the
tests prescribed by the Regulations and found to be satisfactory:-
