The general supervision of the work, arranging appointments, recording attendances
and the collection of contributions, etc., continued to be efficiently carried out by Miss C.
Smith, one of the Council's Women Inspectors until her illness, which unfortunately proved
fatal in December. The loss of her services in connection with this work is keenly felt.
Dental treatment is also provided at the voluntary clinic, which is held at the St.
Pancras School for Mothers, see page 26.
The Centres held in connection with the University College and Royal Free Hospitals
are also able to refer cases needing dental treatment to the Dental Departments of their own
Hospitals.
