Wholesale Dealers in Margarine.—No certificates of registration under the provisions of
the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts were issued during the year.
Section VII.—SANITARY ADMINISTRATION.
In consequence of a special report submitted to the Council, some reorganisation of the
work of the department has been made during the year. The areas and duties of the
Inspectors were somewhat modified; a concentration of the work of the Tuberculosis
Dispensaries was agreed to be adopted. The Berkeley Road Welfare Centre was closed, and
some rearrangement made in certain consultations at other centres. The conditions governing
the Council's contributions to institutions undertaking midwifery attendance for necessitous
cases were more clearly defined. A summary of these and other matters dealt with will be
