Three home helps were employed throughout the year, and temporary helps were
employed during 272 working days also.
Home Nursing.—The work of the four local district nursing associations in this connection
(see page 80) includes the nursing of mothers and children. The home nursing of cases
of measles, whooping cough, ophthalmia neonatorum and infantile diarrhoea is referred to in
the Sections under those headings.
The Maternity Nursing Association undertakes "monthly nursing" as well as supplying
midwives.
