Canal Boats Acts.
During the year Inspector Auger examined 1 canal boat, which was registered for the
occupation of 4 adults and 2 children and was occupied by 2 adults and 4 children. No contraventions
of the Acts were found.
A weekly inspection of the canal and wharves has been made and the absence of a greater
number of boats inspected is due to the small number of registered boats using the canal.
