Sale of Food and Drugs Acts.
756 samples have been taken under these Acts, and 684 of these proved to be genuine and 72 adulterated. The details are given in the following table : —

Of the 756 samples 8 were informal samples, viz., 6 of butter and 2 of milk.
Two of these (butter) were found to be adulterated.
Other informal samples have also been taken and not submitted for analysis.
