DEATHS.
During the year 1911 the corrected total number of deaths from all causes
at all ages was 3,356, being 89 more than during the preceding year and 457
below the annual average of the preceding ten years. Per 1000 of the
population, the death rate was 14.1, compared with 13.8 in the previous year,
and an annual average of 16'0 in the preceding decennium.
The total number of deaths and the death-rates in the Sub-Districts are set out below, 95 deaths from all causes not referable to any particular Sub-District being distributed according to population :—
