THE CLEANSING OF CHILDREN.
The negotiations with the London County Council related in the Annual
Report of last year are still continuing, and the following letter was received
and was before your Council on the 18th January, 1911:—

Cleansing of Children Infested with Vermin.
With reference to the corrsepondence between the Council and the
Metropolitan Borough Council of St. Pancras on the subject of the cleansing
of children infested with vermin, I am to state that the Council is prepared, as
an experiment for one year, and subject to the subjoined conditions, to enter
into agreement with the Metropolitan Borough Council for the cleansing of
children at the Cleansing Station established by them under the Cleansing of
Persons Act, 1897:—
