HUMAN GLANDERS.
All persons who have anything to do with glandered or farcied animals
should bear in mind the following facts:—
The disease can be communicated to man by discharge from the nostrils,
or other parts of a diseased animal of carcase.
The disease in man is almost always fatal.
It is specially dangerous for any person with scratches or sores on the
hands or face to handle diseased horses or carcases.
By care and strict attention to cleanliness the danger of inoculation is.
avoidable.
