DEATHS.
During the year 1907, the corrected total number of deaths from all causes at
all ages was 3552, being 195 less than during the preceding year, and 753
below the annual average of the preceding ten years. Per 1000 of the population
the death-rate was 15.0 compared with 15.8 in the previous year, and an
annual average of 17.9 in the preceding decennium.
