DEATHS.
During the year 1905, the corrected total number of deaths from all causes
at all ages was 3728, being 401 less than during the preceding year, and 755
below the annual average of the preceding ten years. Per 1000 of the population
the death-rate was 15.7 compared with 17.4 in the previous year, and an
annual average of 18.7 in the preceding decennium.
