(b) Tenement Houses.— During the year 200 inspections were made for the
purpose of measuring tenement or lodging-houses which it had been decided to
register, and at the end of year 2,000 houses were upon the register,
2 having ceased to be registerable, and 188 having been added to the register.
Of these houses, 2,652 periodical half-yearly inspections were made, and 5,554
re-inspections after the service of notices. Also of the 212 dwellings entered in
the register of Inscribed Dwellings 42 inspections were made, and 79 reinspections
after the service of notices.
