Additional Disinfecting Chamber.— During the year a new additional
disinfecting chamber has been provided and fixed by Messrs. Goddard, Massey
and Warner. Any sudden pressure, emergency, or breakdown can now be
regarded with equanimity. The old chamber had been working continuously
since October, 1899, and is again in serviceable repair.
Personal Cleansing and Disinfection.

The following table shows the number of persons taking warm baths (including hair and nails) and having their clothes disinfected at the Cleansing and Disinfecting Station:—
