POPULATION.
As in previous Reports, the population of St. Pancras is regarded as
stationary, and after correction and re-distribution is estimated as follows: —

MARRIAGES.
The number of Marriages celebrated in St. Pancras during the year was
2215, being 75 more than in the previous year, and 83 more than the annual
average of the previous ten years.
BIRTHS.
The number of Births registered during the year was 6937, being 45 more
than in the preceding year, and 461 less than the annual average during the
preceding decennium.

The 219 births occuring in Public Institutions having been re-distributed according to population, the number of births and the birth-rate of each of the Sub-Districts and of the District were as follows:—

DEATHS.
During the year the corrected total number of deaths from all causes at all
ages was 5163, being 6 more than during the preceding year, and 310 above
the annual average of the preceding ten years. Per 1000 of population, the
death-rate was 21.8, exactly the same as in the preceding year as compared
with an annual average 20.5 in the preceding decennium.
