PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS.
Births.—The number of births occurring in Public Institutions during the
ysar was as follows:—

Deaths.—The number of deaths of parishioners occurring in Public Institutions
during the year was as follows:—

POPULATION.
As stated, and for the reasons given in the Annual Report for the previous
year, the population of St. Pancras may be estimated as stationary, the birth-rate,
death-rate, and migration rate counterbalancing each other. The population of
St. Pancras and Sub-Districts in the middle of 1891, after correction and re-distribution
is therefore estimated as follows:—

MARRIAGES.
The number of Marriages celebrated in St. Pancras during the year was 2120,
being 22 more than in the preceding year and 46 more than the annual average
for the preceding decennium.
BIRTHS.
The number of Births registered in the Parish during the year was 7188, being
189 more than the number of the preceding year, and 353 less than the average
for the preceding ten years.
