Railway Companies require reserve space they should only be permitted to retain
it under properly limited conditions. The trouble your Yestry has had and still has
with the vacant space east of College Lane, Highgate Road, amply demonstrates the
truth of this statement in one instance, and many similar instances in the Metropolis
are to be found.
Marine Stores, premises on which much offensive material, such as rags and
bones collect, were inspected carefully during the year.
Fish Frying Shops have been carefully inspected, and most of them are now
provided with more efficient hoods to carry off the offensive vapours.
