‡ The number 50 deducted from Births for Strand Union.
§ The number 200 deducted from Births for Pancras Workhouse.
** One of these numbers is obtained by adding together the estimated populations of the
several sub-districts; the other is obtained by a separate calculation with the gross population of
the Parish.
