Maternal Mortality
One death occurred from accidents and diseases of pregnancy
or childbirth. This is equivalent to a rate of 0.22 per thousand
live and still births. The patient concerned was 30 years of age,
and the cause of death was a ruptured ectopic pregnancy with
internal haemorrhage.
