Milk samples
During the year, 100 samples of milk were submitted for analysis
(86 ordinary milk, 11 Channel Islands or South Devon milk and
three sterilised milk). Of these one sample of ordinary milk and
one sample of Channel Islands milk were found to be below the
minimum standard and appropriate action was taken.

The minimum legal standards relating to the composition of milk are as follows:—
