resident's social worker about suitability to move to a flatlet after
a period at Chellow Dene. The flatlet accommodation allows for
far more independence than accommodation in the hostel. The
resident here merely pays a weekly rent for his room and caters
for himself. However, residents may have some evening meals at
Chellow Dene if they wish, for which they pay.
After a period in a flatlet the resident usually moves into
accommodation in this borough, but some residents move into
accommodation directly from Chellow Dene. They are encouraged
to continue to use the hostel for support and to see their social
worker regularly.
