TUBERCULOSIS
Notifications
The total number of new cases which came to the notice of the
Department during 1963 was 293 compared with 320 in 1962.
The sources of information regarding the new cases were as
follows:

Unnotified at death 2
Transfers from other sanitary authorities 26
Total 93
Deaths
The number of deaths certified as due to various forms of tuberculosis
was 25.
