London County Council (General Powers) Act, 1954
Hairdressers and Barbers
Section 18 of the above Act requires, inter alia, that no person shall
carry on a business as a hairdresser or barber on any premises in a
borough unless he or those premises are registered by the Borough
Council. During the year 20 new registrations were made, and the
total number on the register at the end of the year was 267.
Pet Animals Act, 1951
Thirty-four licences were issued by the Council in relation to
premises subject to the provisions of this Act.
