To the Wandsworth Borough Council.
Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Herewith we have pleasure in submitting to you our report
on work performed in this laboratory under the Food and Drugs
(Adulteration) Act, 1928, for your Council during the year ended
31st December, 1938.
In all, 2,002 samples were submitted and examined under
the Act, of which two formal samples of Milk were taken by the
Superintendent of Police of the Newbury Division of the County
of Berks, whilst the remaining 2,000 were procured by your
Council's Food Inspector, half with the necessary formalities
required by the Act and half informally.
The following statement shows the nature of the samples
submitted with the results of analyses, the details of Drugs and
"Other Articles" being given subsequently.
