The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 463, and 80 addresses were forwarded to other Authorities.
The number of addresses received has increased by 55, and the
number sent has decreased by 39. 33 names and addresses were
forwarded to this Borough in error.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year was
31, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year 33 cases of infective diseases—25 of Measles,
four of Pneumonia, one of Dysentery two of Scarlet Fever, and
one of Diphtheria—were notified as having occurred in the homes
of out-workers. In none of these cases was it necessary to make
any order under Section 110 of the Factory and Workshop Act.
