The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 514, and 147 addresses were forwarded to other Authorities.
The number of addresses received has increased by 84, and the
number sent has also increased by 45. 25 names and addresses
were forwarded to this Borough in error.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year
was 32, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year 14 cases of infective diseases—eight of
Measles, two of Scarlet Fever, two of Whooping Cough, one of
Mumps, and one of Diphtheria—were notified as having occurred
in the homes of out-workers. In none of these cases was
it necessary to make any order under Section 110 of the Factory
and Workshop Act.
