The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 499, and 135 addresses were forwarded to other Councils.
The number of addresses received has decreased by 102 and
the number sent increased by 13. 17 names and addresses
were forwarded to this Borough in error.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year
was 27, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year 22 cases of infective diseases—two of
Scarlet Fever, four of Diphtheria, one of Measles, and 15 of
Whooping Cough—were notified as having occurred in the
homes of out-workers. In none of these cases was it necessary
to make any order under Section 110 of the Factory and
Workshop Act.
